A beautiful end to a hard race.

The team road so hard for me today in the rain. The whole race they were at the front pushing the pace and keeping me safe. A BIG Thank you to the team.

Now I am off to Michigan for a 3day track race next weekend, and then to Cascade to roll with the big boys. Lets see how my climbing really is.

Hey all,

So I think some may know, but here at Tour of PA I took out the first crit, The biggest win to date which is rad. The team killed it for me and set me up perfect. It is awesome to have teammates that believe in you and trust you. With winning the crit I got to wear the sprinters jersey for a day.

The past two road stages have been fun, long but fun. The team has been riding amazing and having fun doing it. I love this atmosphere of work hard and have fun and everything will fall in to place.

The next 2 days are gonna be rough but are totally doable and should set up the team for success.

Tour of PA and AVC

So I will start out with last weekend and the AVC. It was a good weekend, I walked away with my skin and some money. The racing was pretty solid and a lot of fun. Big shout out to Robin for putting together a killer race and getting an awesome crowd out to watch.

Tour of PA is off to a start, I heard that I cracked the top 10 in the TT but its not for sure. The course was a good one, real fast start in to a small hill and then in to the finish. The crit tonight is in the same area, its not really a cool crit, wide open road in a park. That means no spectators and sketchy riding. The team is real motivated to kill it for who ever is feeling good.

The staff here is doing a killer job, Keith Williams has stepped in as a everything man, as well as Zack who worked with us last year. DameO makes a bike feel like butter, so so smooth.

Time for Chipotle to fill the tank and some legs up.

hey all.

The last 2 days from Tulsa were less eventful than the first one. Breaks went, I missed out tried to giv'er but no luck. There was a wicked storm than came threw the last day that cancelled most of the days racing, it flooded our host house's front yard and ripped trees out of the ground around the neighborhood.

The River going into the neighbors yard.

The next week I flew out to Omaha to meet and my buddy Alex and drive to St. Louis for the Tour of Winghaven. The two days I show up to ride my bike in Omaha the winds were howling. A 3 and half hour ride felt like 6 to legs, and I did the longest hour and half of my life. The wind had to be consistently blowing at 30 and then put some gusts on top of that. It ended up being the perfect training for Winghaven. The race went around a 3 mile circuit of a development for 25 lap, about 3000+ feet of climbing done. It was 95 degrees out, 70% humidity and WINDY! I planned on sitting in all race, but ended up creating the break that stayed away. 1 became 2, 2 became 4, 4 became 6; and that was all she wrote. A long day off the front, but it payed off by staying hydrated and conserving energy. John from our host house came out with two of his boys to feed Alex and I, that saved us. In the end one guy crashed himself into another guy breaking his wheel, and my buddy Alex and another guy didn't have quite enough on the last lap. It was me against one other and I had enough to come around. For me the normal Chipotle lunch worked, but not so hot for Alex.

A storm that came threw Omaha the night before I left.

Now I have been home doing my best to get ready for Tour of PA. There are some hard stages to be had, but hopefully all the right work has been done.
