Almost home. One plane ride from kissing my lady and hugging my bed.

The weekend ended up as well as it could have, on top. I don't exactly remember what all happened but I do know it felt amazing. Hopefully I will get a few pictures up soon. Man it was awesome to have my dad there to give a huge hug to. He's been there sense day one and it's killer to show him that he didn't waste his time and energy over the years. It was really awesome to see that look in his eyes right after the race. I'm actually surprised that he didn't smack me over the head before the hug after locking the keys in the car right before the start. Thanks to the local PD for helping him get the keys out of the car.

I've felt nothing like it.

Podium

Time for some rest, my body definitely needs it and my head could use a break too. A few days off the bike and visit some friends Then got to put some long days on the bike before Missouri.

Ahh another plane ride.

Hey Danny,
That is very good of you to thank your dad. He is an ideal father and coach
and he is a friend and help to everyone at the track.

Even if you only won norcal medals or nothing, neither of your time would be wasted. Its all good--lessons through cycling.

Daniel,

RIGHT ON!!!

I met you at Darryl Smith's during
Wente weekend and must say that was
something special to mention your Pops.

I know that many of us wonder if our juniors really understand what
all their parents have invested in
them. Win, lose or draw, it's worth
it wether there's mention or not...
sometimes though, it's nice to be
recognized.

Way to go and huge props!

Scott (Micah's dad)
